Part A — Program Privacy Notice
What we collect
- From nominators: your name and email, how you know the nominee, the nominee's first name, state, line of work and typical shift length, what you tell us about their work, an optional photo of their footwear, and (optionally) how you heard about the program.
- From participants: your full legal name, email, the reference code we sent you, shipping address, an optional phone number for delivery, optional social media handles, your answers, photos, videos, voice and image, your choices in the Release, your typed signature, and a record of your consent.
We collect this information through Google Forms, and footwear photos you choose to email us. When you open a form, you leave this site, and Google's privacy policy also applies.
How we use it
To review nominations, contact you, run interviews, create and publish the story you agreed to, ship your product, keep a record of your consent, and meet legal obligations.
Who we share it with
- Service providers that help us run the program: Google (form responses and file storage), Amazon (Multi-Channel Fulfillment, to ship your product), and Cloudflare (website hosting). We edit interview videos ourselves.
- The public — but only the Materials you agreed to publish, on the channels you chose.
We do not sell your personal information.
Cookies, tracking and Do Not Track
We do not use analytics, advertising pixels or advertising cookies on this website. We do not allow third parties to collect personal information about your activity on this site over time or across other websites. Our hosting provider, Cloudflare, processes standard server logs, such as IP address and browser type, and may set strictly necessary security cookies to deliver and protect the site. Because we do not track visitors across sites, the site works the same way whether or not your browser sends a Do Not Track signal.
Where it is stored
Our team is in the Republic of Korea. Information is stored on Google's servers and accessed by our team from Korea.
How long we keep it
- Nominations we do not select: deleted within 90 days of submission.
- Your shipping address: deleted within 90 days after your product is delivered.
- Your story Materials, including any consumer health data: kept while your story is published, then deleted within 30 days after it is taken down or you withdraw consent.
- A short record of your consent (your name, the date and what you agreed to): kept for 3 years after we last use your Materials, so we can show we had your permission.
Your choices
You may ask to see, correct or delete your information, or withdraw consent, by emailing global@sanidoc.kr.
Children
The program is for adults 18 and older. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 13.
Changes
We will post any change on this page with a new "Last updated" date.
Part B — Consumer Health Data Privacy Policy
What consumer health data we may collect
Information you choose to share about the condition of your feet or skin — for example odor, sweating, dryness, or rough or dead skin — and photos or videos that may show it. Please do not share medical diagnoses, conditions, medications or treatment.
Why we collect it
To interview you, create and publish the story you agreed to, and choose the product to send.
Where it comes from
You. We do not ask nominators about anyone's health.
What we share and with whom
The parts of your story you agree to publish are shared with the public on the channels you choose. Google (storage) processes it on our behalf. No outside contractors receive it. We do not sell consumer health data.
Your consent
We collect consumer health data only after you opt in, and publish it only after a separate opt-in. Agreeing to these terms in general is not that consent. You can withdraw either consent at any time.
Your rights
You can ask us to confirm whether we hold your consumer health data, give you a copy, list who we shared it with, or delete it. Email global@sanidoc.kr. We respond within 45 days of receiving your request. We may extend this once by another 45 days, and if we do, we will tell you why within the first 45 days.
Appeals
If we decline your request, you can appeal by emailing global@sanidoc.kr with "Appeal" in the subject line. We will respond in writing within 45 days and explain our decision. If we deny your appeal, we will tell you how to submit a complaint to the Washington State Attorney General.
